EXPRESS ENTRY
Express Entry is a fast-track immigration system introduced by Canada to manage applications for skilled workers. It is an online process designed to reduce processing time, with most applications completed within approximately 6 months.
Programs Under Express Entry
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSW)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
- Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC)
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) – selected streams
Eligibility Criteria
To apply through Express Entry, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of at least one of the programs. Applicants need to create an online profile including details such as work experience, education, language test scores, and skills.
How It Works
Eligible candidates are placed in a pool and ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The highest-ranking candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
Application Process
Once you receive an ITA, you have 90 days to submit a complete application along with all required documents. After approval, you and your dependents can move to Canada as permanent residents.
Important Note
Profiles remain active in the Express Entry pool for up to 12 months. If not selected, candidates can reapply by submitting a new profile.
